It is designed to split one incoming optical signal into eight output fibers, making it suitable for medium-sized fiber distribution systems. This splitter is built using PLC (Planar Lightwave Circuit) technology, which ensures low insertion loss, stable performance, and uniform power distribution across all outputs. It helps maintain consistent signal quality in passive optical networks. The unit comes in a steel tube (tube type) form factor with 0.9mm fiber and 1-meter pigtail length, allowing easy fusion splicing into fiber distribution boxes (FDB), optical distribution frames (ODF), and network enclosures.
